What is ABA therapy?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a science-based therapy that applies techniques based upon the principals of learning to reshape behavior and introduce new skills. The outcomes are tracked through data and progress is analyzed over time.
How long does the process take until I can start ABA services for my child?

The process varies by insurance payor but a general time-frame is 4-6 weeks from your first assessment appointment.
What documentation do I need to get started?

A referral letter from your child's doctor recommending ABA with F diagnosis codes, a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation or report (an assessment that led to diagnosis), an IEP if applicable is helpful but not required.
Is ABA only for children diagnosed with Autism?

No. ABA techniques are effective for children in general this includes children with other diagnosis' such as ADD, ADHD, ODD, and other behavioral disorders. Children who have no diagnosis can also benefit from ABA as well.
